The well, 1931. This is one of the official shrine postcards. This copy in the shrine archives is one sent to Miss Audrey Kitchin, a pilgrim for many years. The unidentified writer says: "I have got a set of cards from Wals. if anyone wants any, and am bringing them. The elder priest was our preacher at the Pilgrimage and the other is Fr Balderslow and the chauffeur. They just happened to be there in the chapel."
